Finchampstead, Wokingham

We fully demolished a bungalow in Finchampstead as per our customer’s request. This was a fair-sized job where the customer bought the plot and wanted to demolish the existing home to build their dream home in its place. When fully demolishing a building, we go in with an excavator for larger structures and manually demolish what we can in order to recycle and sort as many materials as possible. Here at Feltham Groundworks, we take health and safety and risk assessment procedures incredibly seriously. Before we began demolition, we followed our thorough six step procedure to ensure our crew and the environment were protected. The procedure is as follows:
1.      A documented health and safety policy is drawn up and put into place
2.     We go through all health and safety procedures
3.     We run through environmental policy and procedures
4.     We run through COSHH assessments
5.     We have our ‘toolbox talks’ with the demolition crew so everyone is up to date and ready to work efficiently and safely
6.     BS6187:2011 Code of Practice for Demolition

Tottenham, London

We demolished a cleared away a site in Tottenham (London), that was damaged by fire. We ran an asbestos survey prior to demolishing and found non-notifiable asbestos on the site, which meant we were able to get our specialists in to remove the hazardous substances. We were also able to recycle materials as we went, meaning we salvaged metals and hardcore materials to be reused again elsewhere. Our skip hire vehicles are integral to our site clearance, as they are able to manoeuvre into tighter spots and carry large quantities of rubble and other waste materials. Here at Feltham Groundworks, we take health and safety and risk assessment procedures incredibly seriously. Finchley, North London

We recently completed a groundworks job on a house in Finchley, North London. The house was on a hill, which meant we had to underpin the house in sections. We also had to put up sheet pile, which are temporary walls used in construction, to stop subsidence. Here at Feltham Groundworks, we take health and safety and risk assessment procedures incredibly seriously. Before we began demolition, we followed our thorough six step procedure to ensure our crew and the environment were protected. The procedure is as follows:

Staines, Middlesex

We cleared land in Staines, Middlesex, for a new building site. Land clearance consists of fully removing concrete, soil, and vegetation. We meticulously sorted everything manually in order to recycle as much as we could wherever possible. By sorting through all the rubble manually we can salvage much more recyclable materials that would otherwise be lost and gone to waste. We left the site clean and level so a lawn could be laid around the property. Here at Feltham Groundworks, we take health and safety and risk assessment procedures incredibly seriously.
